Is God loving or judgemental?

God is both loving and judgemental. The Bible tells us of his love throughout the Bible when God expressed his enormous love through forgiveness and provisions - even after his people intentionally disobeyed him. Most importantly, God expressed infinite love by coming to earth in human form as Jesus Christ, and dying the most severely painful death to fulfill the perfect sacrifice. A blood-sacrifice (God said repeatedly) was necessary for salvation. Humans typically understand sacrifice as a means of redemption (e.g. paying a penalty when you’ve done something wrong). Imagine how much greater the sacrifice must be for ALL our sins. It would be against God’s nature to ignore sin by not judging us. Likewise it would not be just, and we know God is "just" [Ex 23:1-9; Mt 23:23, Lk 18:7; Rom 3:26]. We also know God is the ultimate meaning of love. So how do you combine a just (judging) God, requiring sacrifice - with a infinitely loving God? An infinitely loving God would sacrifice even himself in a horrible way, to pay the sacrifice (judgement) of sin of others - EVEN those that hate him. That’s what Jesus did. God is forgiving of all sins; EXCEPT blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. If you are exposed to the TRUTH of Jesus, you can be sure God is prompting you through the Holy Spirit. Rejecting it - IS blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. BEWARE of people who describe a "Jesus" or "Christ" that is not totally and completely consistent with the Bible.
