Why did God create mankind?

We can not possibly know all the reasons why God considered Creation. But the Bible does tell us that it’s God’s desire for people to love and worship him [Mk 12:30; 2 Kings 17:38-38; Rev 4], and to be in an eternal existence in direct relationship (knowing) him [Mt 7:21-23]. The reasons God provided us a life on earth before our eternal existence, are: (1) To learn how to love him and worship him and (2) To use the talents and blessings he provided, to help others learn to love and worship him and (3) To TEST our love for him. After all, since his purpose is an eternal relationship with him, God wants to be with "perfect" people that love him. Since he knows no one is perfect, God provides a means of forgiveness (through the blood-sacrifice of Jesus). Life on Earth also tests our love by how we recognize and accept that blood-sacrifice of his Son Jesus. To prove our love, God gave us free will to make a CHOICE (real love is chosen, not forced). By providing us life on earth and revealing his nature while giving us a choice to show we really love him, God provides a way to bring people into heaven that really want to love and worship him (See next Question).
